Two-year-old Aislyn has been diagnosed with Severe TBI and Acute Myeloid Leukemia following a head injury at home. She will remain in the ICU for at least 6 months.
In order for Aislyn to have a parent with her at her bedside in the hospital, her mother has taken an unpaid leave of absence. Her father has also reduced hours since taking some unpaid leave.
